Dolores Cormier-Zenon (Democratic Party) (also known as DeeDee) ran for election to the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education to represent District 8. She lost in the primary on October 14, 2023.

Biography

Dolores Cormier-Zenon earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a master's degree from Northwestern State University, and a doctorate in educational leadership and administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Cormier-Zenon's career experience includes founding the Wisdom Inspired Education Foundation and DZEE Educational Services, LLC and working as their CEO, a legal consultant, an adjunct instructor with Northwestern University, and a grade school teacher. She has served on the National Consensus on School Health Education.[1][2]
