Dolores Mallard
Dolores Mallard was a judge for the Twentieth Judicial District Court in Colorado. She was appointed to this position in 2004 and retired on July 31, 2015.[1][2]
Education
Mallard earned a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in education before receiving her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1989.[1]
Career
Mallard began her career in 1989 with the law firm of Davis Graham & Stubbs. She then worked at the Boulder District Attorney's Office from 1991 until her judicial appointment in 2004, where she eventually attained the position of chief trial deputy.[1]

Mallard was retained in the general election on November 6, winning 78.89 percent of the vote.[3]
Judicial performance evaluation
The Twentieth Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance announced its recommendations for judges up for retention in 2012. According to its website, the commission evaluates judges based on the following criteria: integrity, legal knowledge, communication skills, judicial temperament, and administrative performance.
Judge Mallard was recommended for retention by an unanimous vote. [4]
