Dominique Callins is a judge of the Virginia Court of Appeals. Callins assumed office on November 1, 2021.
Callins was appointed on August 13, 2021 by the Virginia General Assembly after the assembly voted to expand the number of judges from 11 to 17.[1]
Biography
Callins worked as a family-law attorney in North Virginia for 14 years. She previously clerked for Henrico County Circuit Court and later to Appeals Court Judge James W. Benton. She earned a law degree from the College of William and Mary’s Marshall-Wythe School of Law.[2]
