Don H. Dwyer, Jr. (b. February 11, 1958) is a former Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 31 from 2003 to 2015. Dwyer served as Deputy Minority Whip beginning in 2005.

Biography

Dwyer's professional experience includes working as a Contract Aerospace Engineer, Business Consultant, Owner and Operator of American Screen and Poster, Incorporated, and Junior Manufacturing Engineer with Fairchild Republic Aircraft.

Elections for the Maryland House of Delegates took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was February 25, 2014. Jeremiah Chiappelli and Doug Morris defeated Stan Janor in the Democratic primary, while incumbent Nicholaus R. Kipke and Meagan C. Simonaire defeated incumbent Don Dwyer, Jr., Brian A. Chisholm, Paul William Drgos, Jr., Gus Kurtz, Faith M. Loudon and David Lee Therrien in the Republican primary. Kipke and Simonaire defeated Chiappelli and Morris in the general election for two seats.[1][2][3]
