Don F. Briggs

Don F. Briggs was the administrative judge for Lake County in the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. Briggs was appointed to the court by Governor Bob Martinez on February 19, 1990.[1][2] Briggs retired on May 31, 2019.[3]

Briggs ran for re-election to the Fifth Circuit Court.
As an unopposed candidate, he was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot.[4]
Education
Briggs received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Clemson University and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina.[5]
Career
Briggs worked as an attorney in Florida from 1981 until his judicial appointment in 1990.[2][5]
