Campaign website

Fitz stated the following on the Missouri Green Party website:

I want to stop endless US wars, create a living wage, tax the rich, end racist immigration policies and establish free public education from pre-K through trade school or post-college. I would guarantee affordable housing and cosponsor improved Medicare-for-All to cover 100% of Americans’ healthcare. We must improve health by reducing poisonous chemicals like pesticides.[3]

—Don Fitz (2024)[4]

2016

Fitz provided the following statement on the Missouri Green Party website:

Don supports organic food free of contamination by pesticides, herbicides and GMOs. The other side of good health is a single payer system and Medicaid expansion. Don opposes fossil fuels and nuclear power. We cannot live safely with concealed guns, especially in schools, or by allowing automatic firearms. Instead, we should advocate forgiving student loans and free university education.

Don understands that civilian oversight boards, police body cameras and ending mass incarceration are first steps in overcoming injustice in law enforcement. Confronting systemic racism also requires a massive jobs program. Unfortunately, the US is experiencing a frenzy of privatizing and eliminating jobs that are a mainstay of black employment. In addition to bringing back civil service jobs that have been outsourced, Don supports a shorter work week in order to reach full employment.[1][3]
