I’m running as a write in candidate for the Democratic nomination for District 27 Representative. I am a retired engineer, have lived in Arizona for 36 years, have been married for 43 years and am a father of 3 and grandfather of 4. I hope to provide District 27 voters an additional choice in the November General Election. I am pro choice. I support our public school system including increased teacher pay. I believe that Arizona elections are free and fair and do not support changes to the permanent early voting list or our mail in voting system. I believe that climate change and the associated water shortages and extreme heat are the most important issues facing our state.
  • I am pro choice and supportive of federal and state constitutional amendments to ensure reproductive freedom.
  • I support public education and would support improved oversight of charter or private schools receiving public money.
  • I believe Arizona elections have been and continue to be free and fair. Those stating otherwise are simply dishonest.
Arizona’s looming water crisis is what I consider to be the most significant issue we face. The time to act is now. We can’t afford to wait until our aquifers are depleted and the reservoirs behind Hoover and Glen Canyon dams have been reduced to levels that no longer support energy production. I believe this problem is solvable but we need to begin implementing realistic conservation and supply enhancement measures as soon as possible.
