Don Kopp
Don Kopp is a former Republican member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 35 from 2008 to 2015. Kopp did not run for re-election in 2014.
Biography
Kopp has worked as an Incident Commander for the United States Forest Service/National Park Service, a Special Projects Forester/Lead Fire Investigator, the owner of a forestry consulting business, the author of the book Modern Science and An Ancient Text, and a member of the United States Navy. He also worked as Commander/Professional Forester for the South Dakota Division of Forestry from 1969 to 1998.

2012
Kopp won election in the 2012 election for South Dakota House of Representatives District 35. Kopp ran unopposed in the Republican primary on June 5 and won election in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

2010
Kopp ran for re-election to District 35 of the South Dakota House of Representatives. Kopp and Mark Kirkeby (incumbent) both ran unopposed in the June 8 Republican primary.[3] Kopp and Kirkeby defeated Sharon Green (D) and Jay Pond (I) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[4]
