Don McNelly
Don McNelly holds the District 5 seat on the Blount County Board of Education in Tennessee. He was initially elected to the chamber in 2002 and lost re-election on August 7, 2014 to Scott Helton
Biography
McNelly is an ordained elder in the Presbyterian Church in America. He serves as a sunday school teacher at Trinity Presbyterian Church. He is a member of American Legion and Gideons International. McNelly is married, and has four children and nine grandchildren.[1]

The August 7, 2014 general election ballot for District 1 included Sammy Humphrey, Terry Hurst, Joe McCulley and Debbie Sudhoff. Incumbent Charles Finley ran unopposed on the District 3 ballot. The District 5 ballot included incumbent Don McNelly and challenger Scott Helton. The District 7 ballot included Dennis Cardin, Stan Giles and Fred Goins.
