Donald F. Cerio, Jr. is a Court of Claims judge for Madison County in New York. He was appointed to this position in 2008 and his current term expires in 2017.[1] He also serves as an acting justice of the Madison County Supreme Court.[2]
Education
Cerio received his B.S. degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Brockport College and his J.D. from the SUNY at Buffalo Law School.[1]
Career
Cerio began his career in 1983 as an Assistant District Attorney. He was promoted to Chief Assistant District Attorney in 1985 and served in this position through 1989. From 1990 until his judicial appointment in 2008, he served as a Madison County District Attorney. He was then appointed to the New York Court of Claims of Madison County.[1]
