Don Horan Jr. was born in Troy, NY, and spent his childhood living in Florida and New York. He graduated from Schuylerville High School in 2000. Don attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he obtained a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2005, and Marist College, where he earned his M.B.A. in 2009.

Don's career experience is diverse, encompassing the energy, semiconductor, biopharmaceutical, and chemical industries before working as a civil servant in the State of New York. While in government, Don served as a Strategic Project Leader responsible for addressing complex government issues. He was widely regarded as the top problem solver in government, having resolved numerous seemingly intractable problems. Most notably, Don played a crucial role in fixing New York's Unemployment Insurance system when it crashed during the COVID-19 pandemic, helping millions of New Yorkers receive their benefits. He then became New York's Acting Executive Deputy Chief Information Officer, overseeing all of New York's IT infrastructure.

Later, Don left the state to return to Florida and work in the field of artificial intelligence. He continued his government-related work, collaborating with states and their governors across the country to tackle complex issues related to SNAP, TANF, Unemployment, and Medicaid. In 2022, he became the CEO of Netra AI.
  • It's time for a fresh political landscape, driven by individuals who are not career politicians. Empathy empowers change, and we need leaders who truly understand and care for the needs of all citizens. Together, let's build a future where compassion guides policy-making, where every voice is heard, and where innovative solutions are born from genuine concern for our fellow citizens. Join us in forging a new era of politics, where empathy unites us, and real change is not only possible, but inevitable.
  • It's time to prioritize economic stability for hardworking families struggling to get ahead amidst rising inflation and unaffordable housing. Our campaign champions policies that protect and uplift those who aren't wealthy, ensuring fairness, opportunity, and the ability to meet basic needs for all. Together, let's create an economy where everyone prospers, hard work truly pays off, and affordable housing is a reality. We envision a future where inflation is managed responsibly, financial security is attainable, and every individual can thrive. Join us in fighting for an inclusive economy that leaves no one behind, addresses housing concerns, and puts people before profits.
  • We need to come together! With an engineering background, I bring a unique problem-solving approach to address urgent concerns: homelessness, gun violence, and women's rights. Our campaign is driven by the conviction that innovative, data-based strategies can lead to transformative change. We need leadership that combines technical expertise with empathy and determination to make a real difference. Join us in shaping a future where everyone thrives in a safe, equitable society where rights and dignity are respected and preserved for all.
I am passionate about policy that helps us achieve a vision of a nation that prioritizes citizens' wellbeing and safety.

Committed to preserving Medicare & Social Security, we must ensure these benefits last. I'll advocate for women-only votes on abortion rights, valuing bodily autonomy.

To tackle border and Latin America issues, we need diplomacy, collaboration, and safeguarding migrants' rights. A compassionate world is attainable.

Addressing the mental health crisis requires innovation, aiding the homeless, and improved care access. Legalizing natural medicines will promote healing.

Championing STEM education and safe learning environments, I'll support working parents with quality before and aftercare options for children.

Dedicated to restoring safety and bolstering national security, we must stay vigilant against foreign adversaries.

To achieve financial stability, I'll pursue tax reforms, aid seniors and veterans, and promote prosperity for hardworking Americans. Redirect resources from unproductive government spending.

Modernizing tech infrastructure and investing in skilled leaders is vital. Embrace innovation to increase efficiency and protect against cyber threats.

Envision an America cherishing community, kindness, and love; policy that lets us rebuild a compassionate, united nation. Join me in championing policy changes for a prosperous, equitable future using data and technology to solve our most complex issues.
I like to find ways to look up to many people and I am not like many politicians who spend their time figuring out who they can look down at. Some examples: I look up to every single parent who is striving to balance work and raising children in today's complex world, as well as every individual who has faced hate, discrimination, and abuse but continues to stand tall. I admire those who have conquered adversity with courage, resilience, and grace, teaching us the power of strength in vulnerability. Furthermore, I hold great respect for the countless unsung heroes who selflessly give their time and energy to improve the lives of others, proving that compassion and empathy can indeed make the world a better place. These remarkable people, from all walks of life, serve as beacons of hope and inspiration, encouraging us to persevere in our own challenges and contribute to the greater good. I look up to every homeless person who faces the unimaginable struggle of living without basic necessities, as well as those who struggle with mental health and addiction issues. Their perseverance in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles serves as a powerful reminder of the human spirit's unyielding strength. Despite the often-overwhelming challenges they face, these individuals demonstrate remarkable courage and resilience, inspiring us all to appreciate the simple things in life and fight for a more just and equitable society. Their struggles bring to light the critical need for greater compassion and support, and they remind us that every person deserves dignity, respect, and an opportunity to thrive.
The Berenstain Bears Lend a Helping Hand. We are going to help people and build them up to be strong again. Financially, mentally and emotionally! We need to be there for each other and come together to live in harmony! The book itself doesn’t mention politics because that doesn’t matter! What matters is helping each other be happy in life.
Government is all data, therefore, we need people who understand data and technology to fix our issues and problems. We also need people who represent us, the people, not a political party. Those that will stand up for the constitution and the constituents it was built to protect. Someone who will tell us the truth even if it hurts. It’s important to have elected officials who aren’t in office to fight, lie and litigate but there to build bridges with others that they have difference with to develop win-win solutions not compromises that lead to anger and regret.
Ability to fix any problem! I know how to fix homelessness, gun violence, mental health crisis and many others.
I grew up working in a pizza shop from the time I was 5 until I was 18
Hit the road Jack(I was thinking about Rick Scott)
Life itself is a struggle and the biggest struggle is that no matter how hard you work, how much more you get as a yearly pay raise, our system is built so we never actually get ahead financially.
Mental health crisis, artificial intelligence and job displacement, failing IT infrastructure, international conflict, worsening environmental disasters and conditions, food security, collapse of the US dollar.
Having experience in government or politics is not needed. What is needed are people that are problem solvers. We have focused on filling our politics with lawyers who are taught in college to litigate, they are not taught to build, work together or to problem solve.
No, I am my own person and trying to be like someone or copy them is not who I am. People like Wagner, who created notable legislation, were important to our history.
Their educational background, on their ability to interrupt law and how non-political they are.
No, I think compromise is failure of the ability to come up with unique solutions that satisfies all people. When people work together and bring their creativity to problem solving we don’t need to compromise, we need to come together to come up with a solution we both agree on. Compromise means both parties lose something. We do it in society because it is safe and easy. We have made it out like it is a good thing but in fact it’s not, it’s brought us to this point of high debt and social issues that are still not solved.
To investigate what their constituents desire to be investigated. We work for the people, that has been forgotten. It doesn’t matter what I want investigated, what the people of Florida want investigated will be investigated despite how I feel about it. Using investigations for political
Reasons will not be done by me.
What specific metrics they plan on impacting while appointed so they can be held accountable for delivering quantitative results. Prior history of working as a leader and how they build teams. Previous success and accomplishments would also be considered. Business dealings and potential conflicts of interest they have. Direct experience in their field is also essential.
