Collapse all
|- Affordability. We need to pass a constitutional amendment, enacting a taxpayer’s bill of rights, limiting tax increases. We need to reform Act 250 to ease restrictions on building more affordable housing. We need to fix the education funding formula, to adequately fund education, without overburdening the taxpayers. We need to stop focusing our environmental policies on leading the nation, with unobtainable and ineffective initiatives and rather focus on Vermont, keeping our financial means in mind.
- Transportation Infrastructure. We need to do more to fix our roads and bridges, and we need to prioritize local projects to assist with flood mitigation and climate resiliency.
- Law and Order. We need to pass a constitutional amendment to end catch and release policies for repeat offenders. We need to fully support and fund law enforcement.
Always tell the truth. The people deserve no less than the complete truth without deceptive spin.
I will not support any legislation that I don’t understand well enough to explain, and will not vote for a bill I haven’t been given time to read.
