Donald Moran
Donald Moran was a judge for the Fourth Circuit Court in Florida. He was first appointed to the court in 1983 and served in Duval County. Moran served as chief judge of the court from 1993 until his retirement from the bench in January 2015. He also served as a judge for the Adult Drug Court from its inception in October 1994 until his retirement.[1][2][3]
Education
Moran received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and his J.D. degree from the University of Florida Law School.[1]
Career
Moran worked as an assistant state attorney from 1973 to 1977. He then became a judge of the Duval County Court. He served in that capacity until he became a circuit court judge in 1983. Moran also served as a judge for the Adult Drug Court in October 1994. From February 1997 to January 1999, Moran served as the presiding judge for the Juvenile Drug Court, which he founded.[1]
