Donald W. Gillis
Donald W. "Donny" Gillis is a judge of the Dublin Circuit of Georgia.[1] He was first appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue in 2007 to a newly created seat. Has has since won re-election in 2008 and 2012.[2]
Education
Gillis received his B.A. from the University of Georgia and his J.D. from Mercer University.[2]
Career
Prior to his appointment to the Dublin Circuit, Gillis was a state court judge of Treutlen County and an attorney at the firm Gillis and Dixon, LLC.[2]
2012 election
Gillis ran unopposed for re-election to the Dublin Superior Court.[3] He was re-elected after receiving 99.8 percent of the vote in the July 31 election.[4]
