Donna Padar Berlin is a judge of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court in Sarasota County, Florida. She was elected on September 5, 2006 and took office the following January. She replaced retired Judge Nancy Donnellan. She was re-elected in 2012 and her current term expires in January of 2019.[1][2][3][4][5]

Education

Berlin received her B.A. degree from Wellesley College in 1990 and her J.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Law in 1993.[2]

Career

Berlin began her career in 1993 as an assistant state attorney in Bradenton, Fla. She then served in Sarasota as an assistant state attorney/felony prosecutor from 1996 until May of 2006. She was elected to the circuit court later that year.[3]

2012 election

Berlin was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[6]
