Donna Dixon
Donna Dixon was a judge for Division 2 of the Kentucky Court of Appeals 1st Appellate District. She assumed office in 2006. She left office on November 20, 2023.
Dixon ran for re-election for the Division 2 judge of the Kentucky Court of Appeals 1st Appellate District. She won in the general election on November 8, 2022.
Biography
Education
Dixon received her bachelor's degree from Murray State University, graduating magna cum laude. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Southern Illinois University School of Law.[1][2]
Career
Dixon began her legal career as a staff attorney for Kentucky Court of Appeals Chief Judge J. William Howerton. She was later an assistant commonwealth's attorney for McCracken County and in private practice. Dixon served as a McCracken County district judge for more than 10 years before her appointment to the Kentucky Court of Appeals.[1]
