Donna Forga is a district court judge for the 30th Judicial District, which presides over Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Jackson, Macon and Swain counties of North Carolina. She was first elected to the court in 2010. Forga was re-elected to the 30th Judicial District in 2014, winning a term that expired on December 31, 2018.[1][2]

General: She was unopposed in the general election on November 4, 2014. [2] 

2010

Forga was elected to the 30th Judicial District. She defeated incumbent Danya L. Vanhook in the general election, winning 57.49 percent of the vote.[3]

Education

Forga received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 1995 and her J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2000.[4]

Career

Before her election to the court, Forga worked as an attorney in private practice, specializing in criminal, domestic, and the Department of Social Services cases.[5]
