Donna G. Dutton is a district court judge for the 53rd District Court, which presides over Anderson, Shelby, and Spencer counties in Kentucky.[1] She began serving in 2006 and was re-elected in 2010 and 2014.[2][3]  Her four-year term expired on January 6, 2019.[4]

Dutton ran for re-election to the 53rd District Court.
General: She defeated Emily Farrar-Crockett in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 73.1 percent of the vote. [5] 

2010

Dutton was re-elected to the 53rd District Court. She defeated challenger Darby Lane Smith with 60.12 percent of the vote on November 2, 2010.[2]

Education

Dutton earned her undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Kentucky. She received her J.D. from the University of Louisville Law School in 1991.[6]

Career

Prior to her 2006 election to the bench, Dutton served as general counsel for various state government agencies including the Department of Agriculture, the Cabinet for Economic Development and the Executive Branch Ethics Commission.[7]
