Donna Mears
Donna Mears (Democratic Party) is a member of the Alaska House of Representatives, representing District 21. She assumed office on January 17, 2023. Her current term ends on January 19, 2027.
Mears (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Alaska House of Representatives to represent District 21. She won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
Donna Mears lives in Alaska. Mears earned a bachelor's degree in bio-environmental engineering from Rutgers University and a master's degree in urban planning from the University of Michigan. Her career experience includes working as a civil and environmental engineer. She served on the Alaska chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America; the Northeast Community Council executive board; and various Municipality of Anchorage boards and commissions, including the Health and Human Services Commission, the Stormwater Utility Commission, the Solid Waste and Recycling Advisory Commission MOA On-Site Water and Wastewater Technical Review Board.[1]
