Donnie Brown
Donnie Brown (Republican Party) was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 149. He assumed office on January 4, 2023. He left office on August 21, 2025.
Brown (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Missouri House of Representatives to represent District 149. He will not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on August 4, 2026.
Brown resigned from the Missouri House of Representatives District 149 on August 21, 2025, to accept a position as district engineer for the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Southeast District.[1]
Biography
Donnie Brown was born in Sikeston, Missouri, and lives in New Madrid. Brown graduated from New Madrid Central High School in 1989. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) in 1994. His career experience includes working as an engineer, supervising the road and bridge department with New Madrid County. Brown served as the mayor of the City of New Madrid for 12 years.[2]
