Biography
Dontae Payne served in the U.S. Army, including two tours in Afghanistan. He received a bachelor's degree in political science and public policy and a Master of Public Administration from The Evergreen State College. Payne's professional career includes working as a deputy district director in the U.S. House of Representatives and as a senior policy advisor for civil rights and racial justice in the Washington State Office of the Governor.[1][3]
