Dorene Schulze-Stever was a 2014 Democratic candidate for District 1 of the Utah House of Representatives.[1]

Schulze-Stever has been the emergency preparedness coordinator at Bear River Valley Hospital since 1991. She is a former chairman of the LEPC (Local Emergency Planning Committee) and the Northern Utah Suicide Prevention Coalition.[2]

Elections for the Utah House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on June 24, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 20, 2014. Dorene Schulze-Stever was unopposed in the Democratic convention. In the Republican convention, Oakley Nelson was eliminated and Scott Sandall advanced as a general election candidate. Sandall defeated Schulze-Stever and Lee Phipps (Constitution) in the general election.[1]
