Dorian Damoorgian
Dorian Damoorgian is a judge of the Florida 4th District Court of Appeal. He assumed office on January 2, 2008. His current term ends on January 2, 2029.
Damoorgian ran for re-election for judge of the Florida 4th District Court of Appeal. He won in the retention election on November 8, 2022.
He was appointed by then-Republican Governor Charlie Crist and joined the court in 2008.[1] He was retained by voters in 2010, 2016, and 2022.
Education
Damoorgian earned his bachelor's degree from American University in 1977. He received his J.D. from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law in 1980.[1]
Career
Damoorgian entered private practice in 1980. In 1999 he became a circuit court judge of the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida. He held this position through 2007, when he was appointed to the court of appeal.[1]
