An effort to recall Doug Andersen from his position as a commissioner of Hamilton County, Nebraska was launched in October 2012 and abandoned in November 2012.[1]
Background
LaVerne Bamesberger was the leader of the recall effort. Bamesberger decided not to turn in recall petitions on the November 24 deadline because he did not believe he had collected the 141 signatures necessary to force a recall election.[1]
