Doug Barnett
Doug Barnett was the Division 2 member of the Fayette County Board of Education in Kentucky. He was first elected to the board in 2010. Doug Barnett won the general election on November 4, 2014.[1] He did not seek re-election in 2018.
Biography
Barnett graduated from Garrard County High School in 1994, earned a bachelor's degree in political science and history from the University of Kentucky in 1998 and a J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2001.[2]

The election in Fayette County featured two seats up for general election on November 4, 2014. There was no primary election. Division 2 incumbent Doug Barnett defeated challenger Roger Cleveland while Division 4 incumbent Amanda Ferguson won re-election against Natasha Murray.
