Doug Dubitsky
Doug Dubitsky (Republican Party) is a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 47. He assumed office on January 7, 2015. His current term ends on January 6, 2027.
Dubitsky (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Connecticut House of Representatives to represent District 47. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
Biography
As of October 2019, Doug Dubitsky lives in North Windham, Connecticut. Dubitsky earned a bachelor's degree in theater arts and film from the State University of New York at Purchase. His career experience includes working as a designer and technician on television shows, theater productions, and trade shows. He earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1999, and became a partner at Pullman & Comley, LLC in Hartford.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 10, 2014. Incumbent Brian Sear was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Doug Dubitsky defeated Noah Enslow and Michael P. Meadows in the Republican primary. Dubitsky defeated Sear in the general election.[4][5][6]
