Biography
Doug Smith was born in Waterloo, Iowa. Smith served in the United States Army from 1984 to 2018. He earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Wichita State University in 1989, an M.P.A. in criminal justice from City University at Bellevue, in 2006, and a master's degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College in 2012. Smith's career experience includes working as a military police officer in the U.S. Army.[1]
