Doug Wright (Mississippi)
Doug Wright was a candidate in the 2011 special election for District 6 of the Mississippi State Senate. Although party affiliation was not listed on the special election ballot, Wright ran as a Republican. The special election took place on January 11, 2011. He was running to the fill the seat vacated by Patrick Nunnelee (R) who was elected to the U.S. House in the November 2, 2010, general election.
Wright operates three medical services companies in Mississippi: Community Living Centers, CLC of Bruce, LTC Pharmacy Solutions and Synchronous Medical Supply. In addition, he is an attorney and a member of the board of directors of the Mississippi Better Business Bureau. He also serves as director on the National Multi-Facility Committee of the American Health Care Association. His married to his wife, Stephanie, and has three children.[1][2]
