We are experiencing an historic global pandemic and now, a full economic crisis. We need common sense, experience-based solutions to save jobs and advocate for the survival (and thriving of) small businesses, the heart of our economy.

I'm 64 years old with wisdom and experience, born and raised in the 1st District. I have a Business degree from Weber State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah. I am a successful businessman and expert in constitutional law with a 35-year history of winning cases, many against big government bureaucracies. I'm a problem solver and a tough but fair negotiator.

Forty-two years ago, I married my high school sweetheart. We have raised five wonderful children, with nine (soon to be eleven) grandchildren. I'm an avid pilot, boater and rancher. I'm a man of faith and have served as a missionary and as a bishop. My wife and I currently serve those with special needs in Morgan County.

I have never been a politician and never will be. I'm taking a leave of absence from my businesses to serve our country and you. I don't intend to be a career politician. I want to make a difference.

CONTROL THE MONEY = CONTROL THE GOVERNMENT

Honesty and courage are guiding priciples that create the value of one's integrity. Those are the most important personal principles, if applied with leadership, that can influence and direct people towards a worthy vision.
I'm an outsider. I've never been a "politician" and hope I never am. Instead, I want a return to the Statesman. These are REPRESENTATIVES that represent the will of the people, the voters. A statesman has integrity, standards, and lives what they expect voters to live. I am a small business owner. The state of the economy effects my staff every day. I carry that responsibility and lead. I am a Constitutional attorney. That document was inspired and if we adhere to it and it's principles, we will remain the greatest nation in the world. We need to drain the swamp... big money in politics produces corrpution. I am not looking for a new career, I am not a ladder climber politician. I simply want to get to Washington, represent our voters, and stir things up!
I think it becomes "swampy" when a politician goes to Washington with the intent to stay there. Career politicians are part of the problem, part of the swamp. Once they get there, they take a dip into the swamp and it feels more like a hot tub... and they don't want to leave. That's why I support term limits.
