Douglas Woodruff Hillman (1922-2007) was a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan.

Hillman was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on July 12, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 25, 1979, and received commission the next day. From 1986-1991, he served as the chief judge. He assumed senior status on February 15, 1991. He served the Western District of Michigan until his retirement on October 1, 2002.[1] Hillman was succeeded in this position by David McKeague. Hillman died on February 1st, 2007.
