Douglas Jennings, Jr.
Douglas Jennings, Jr. (b. May 15, 1956) is a former Democratic member of the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 54.
Jennings earned his B.A. from Clemson University in 1978. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1982. Jennings is an attorney.
Jennings served as a Legislative Assistant to the United States House of Representatives from 1978 to 1979. He then served the South Carolina State Senate Judiciary Committee as a Research Assistant from 1979 to 1982. From 1982 to 1988, he was an Assistant Solicitor for the 4th Judicial Circuit. He then served on the Marlboro County Election Committee from 1986 to 1991. Jennings joined the South Carolina House of Representatives in 1991 and served until 2010. From 2001 to 2003, he served as House Minority Leader.

On November 4, 2008, Jennings won re-election unopposed to the South Carolina House of Representatives with 10,535 votes, representing District 54.
