Douglas Gutwein (Republican Party) was a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 16. He assumed office in 2008. He left office on November 9, 2022.

Endorsements
Gutwein was endorsed by the National Rifle Association in the State House race in 2012.[9] Gutwein was also endorsed by the Indiana Right to Life PAC on May 2, 2012.[10]

Gutwein defeated Democratic candidate Bill Reutebuch by a margin of 12,481 to 5,485 in the November 2 general election.[11]
In the May 4 primary election, Gutwein defeated Richard Kellenbach by a margin of 5,882 to 2,947 votes.[12]
