Douglas Wilkins
Douglas Wilkins was an associate justice for the Massachusetts Superior Courts.[1] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick (D) on September 21, 2010.[2] His nomination was confirmed by the Governor's Council on October 13, 2010.[3] Wilkins may serve on the court until he reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70.[4]
Education
Wilkins received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College in 1975 and his J.D. from the Harvard Law School in 1978.[2]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, Wilkins practiced law with the firms of Anderson & Kreiger, LLP and Palmer & Dodge. He also previously served as an assistant attorney general and as the chief of the Government Bureau and chief of the Trial Division for the Attorney General's Office.[2]
