My name is Douglas Wynn, I am running for Congress District 3. I was born and raised in Camden N.J. I have been in Law Enforcement for 31 years. I believe that the corruption in politics in N.J. has to stop. It is time for the old ways of politics to be stopped. Why Not Wynn. It has to start with getting back into the community. We have to get to know our people. We can't be afraid to go to our urban areas. We have to start the politicians accountable for their spending. We have to get the roosters out of the hen house. I'm not a politician I'm a public servant.
  • I'm not a politician I'm a public servant.
  • I have to go to the community and serve the people.
  • I am a independent. I owe nobody. It's time to stop the corruption. Why Not Wynn.
Protecting our seniors. Holding our politicians accountable for their over spending. Making our education system stronger. Let's stop laying off our teachers. Let's make more after school programs for our children. We have to strengthen our Law Enforcement.
I look up to my mother. My mother was strong and fearless. She raised me in Camden N.J.
I believe that my qualifications are loyalty, Trust Worthy, Reliable, Great listener. I love people.
That I was a man of great integrity.
My first job was a Life Guard in Camden N.J.
The Art Of War. It teaches you to how to read your opponent.
They don't care about us. Michael Jackson
What makes it a unique institution is that you have people coming from all different walks of life to share their ideas.
I don't think that previous experience is necessary in government or politics.
1. Poverty 2. Dealing with our mental health. I believe that the people in charge don't really believe that there is really a mental health problem in our country. 3. Our youth is a big problem in our country. Our adults are afraid to say no to them. We have to get hold of them now. 4. Educating our youth. How are we supposed to educate our youth but there is no incentive for them to be great.
I believe that term limits should be more than two years. I feel that you will need at least three years to get your ideas across on what I want accomplished.
I believe that Jim Florio was a great politician. Congressman Florio would come to the urban areas. Congressman Florio knew the heart beat of his people.
I have a personal experience. Congressman Jim Florio helped my mother from getting kicked out of our house. He just wanted to make sure that the family was OK and that we were in school.
Your breath is so bad it smells like garbage.
I believe that you have to have compromise to make this a better country.
I believe that it's important with transparency. I want people to know that I am not hiding anything.
For good. No one is above the law. If there is signs of corruption it must be investigated.
Education, Seniors, Creating Jobs for everyone. Mental Health.
Financial transparency is a must. How are we going to stop corruption if there is no transparency. No one is above the law. We have to stop turning our heads just because we don't want to step on anyone's feet. It starts now. Why Not Wynn.

Interview with NJ Spotlight News

Wynn highlighted the following themes in an interview with NJ Spotlight News in 2024. The questions from NJ Spotlight News are bolded and Wynn's responses follow below.[2]

Personal background: I was born and raised in Camden N.J. I have been a law enforcement officer for 31 years. I attended Camden High School graduated 1981.

Political background: I have been a State Delegate leader for the State PBA. I have worked with elected officials to get new contracts for our officers.

Reason for running: I am running for office because it’s time for change. It’s time for politics to change as we know it in New Jersey. It’s time for full transparency. It’s time to give the power back to the people.

Biggest issue: Transparency.

On the federal government’s role in women’s reproductive health: I believe that federal government should not have the right to tell a woman what she should do with her body.

On the U.S. transition to clean energy: I believe that the government should start with making more electric vehicles. The vehicles should be affordable for everyone.

On ensuring free and fair elections and the transition of power: I believe that who ever runs for election should be treated equally. I believe that the raising of campaign funds is a problem. The transition of power should be handled by mature adults.

On the U.S. role in foreign conflicts: I believe that the United States should take care of home first. I believe that we should help other countries but not to the extent that we have people here homeless and hungry.[3]
