Two Dover City School District Property Tax Levy Renewal questions were on the November 6, 2012 election ballot in Tuscarawas County, which is in Ohio, where they were approved.
The first question authorized the Dover City School District to renew a property tax levy of $2.4 million for 10 years in order to fund emergency requirements of the District. The rate above the 10 milll limitation necessary to raise these funds is estimated to be 6.4 mills ($6.4 per $1,000 of assessed valuation).
The second question authorized the Dover City School District to renew a property tax levy of $2.79 million for 10 years in order to fund emergency requirements of the District. the rate above the 10 mill limitation necessary to raise these funds is estimated to be 8.4 mills ($8.4 per $1,000 of assessed valuation).
