Doyle Argo
Doyle W. Argo was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. He was appointed to this position in 1987.[1] On April 30, 2012, Judge Argo retired from the bench.
Education
Judge Argo received his B.A. degree in political science from the University of Oklahoma in 1969. He then served in the U.S. Air Force until 1973. He earned his J.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1976.[1]
Career
Judge Argo began his career in 1976 as an Assistant District Attorney. From 1979 to 1981, he worked as General Counsel to the Oklahoma Bar Association. He then worked as a private practice lawyer until his federal judicial appointment in 1987. From 1984 to 1987, he also worked as a judge on the Norman Municipal Court.[1]
