“ | Shall the city sales tax ordinance for local parks,described as follows, be approved?
Ordinance No. 597, imposing a city sales tax for local parks at a rate of one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) on the receipts from all retail sales of property or services within the City which are subject to taxation by the State of Missouri under the provisions of Sections 144.010 to 144.525, RSMo, such sales tax to be imposed for a period not to exceed five (5) years after its effective date.[2] |
