Wyoming: The Wyoming Supreme Court has denied an appeal by two men to recover $7,209 that was taken by the state in a drug bust.

Joseph Libretti and Frank A. Hohlios were 2 of 10 people involved in a 2010 drug bust when the state confiscated $116,584 in cash, three vehicles and one firearm. The same day, state agents searched the house of Libretti and Hohlios and confiscated controlled substances, drug paraphernalia and $7,209 in cash. A District Court allowed the state to keep the money and issued a forfeiture order to those involved.

The two men appealed the forfeiture order, claiming that the Natrona County/7th District Court erred in the ruling. The Supreme Court, however, denied the appeal.[1]
