DuVal West (1861-1949) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.

He was nominated by President Woodrow Wilson on December 19, 1916 to fill the seat vacated by Thomas Maxey. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 21st, and received commission that same day. On November 30, 1931, he assumed senior status. He served until his death on May 13, 1949.[1] West was succeeded in this position by Robert Johnston McMillan.
