Elections
2014
Davis was running for election to the office of Lieutenant Governor of Maryland, but was disqualified by the state board of elections on March 18, 2014.[3] The seat was open in 2014 because incumbent Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown (D) opted to run for governor rather than seek a third term in his current post.[4]
The general election took place on November 4, 2014. In Maryland, the governor and lieutenant governor are elected on the same ticket. Davis' gubernatorial running mate was Brian Vaeth.[2]
