After devoting my life to protect our country as a U.S. Army Veteran and defend our beloved county for 12 years as a Deputy Constable at Precinct 3. I continue to give back to the place that made me, I'm on a mission to provide hope to our community and to restore it by providing a positive change. It’s time to take politics off the bench and put law enforcement on the bench. Not only do I know the law, but I have also enforced it on a daily basis.

I know I'm the most experienced candidate running for this office since I’m the only candidate who has worked alongside with past and present judges at Precinct 3. I understand the requirements needed to successfully accomplish the job of a Justice of the Peace and this has allowed me to observe and listen to the community and staff about the changes needed.

I hope to have your support through the election.

Thank You in advance for your support !!!
  • WHAT EXPERIENCE QUALIFIES YOU FOR THE JOB? I am the most experienced candidate running for this office since I've been in law enforcement for 12 years at the current office that I’m running for in Bexar County at the Constable’s Office in Precinct 3. Not only do I know the law, but I've enforced the law. My opposing candidates do not have the extensive knowledge to know what enforcement is needed once the citation leaves the bench. The advantage I have is I have executed all the writs and evictions this court deals with. With my experience I’ve fully come to understand the requirements of a Justice of the Peace and what is required to successfully accomplish the job.
  • WHAT ABOUT THE OFFICE WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE CHANGED? By listening on a daily basis to the community, attorneys, and staff these are the immediate changes I would make: First, I would transition back to In-person hearings and have the court hours be more accessible to the community by making the court available one Saturday of the month and having extended hours one day of the week each month. Second, all writs and evictions are currently being printed and manually filed, therefore I will transition the office to a more efficient workplace by filing electronically. By doing this it will save time and supplies which in return will save taxpayer money. Third, bring all backlogged cases to current status. These are just a few issues.
  • DO YOU BELIEVE THERE IS MORE THE JP COURTS CAN DO TO ENSURE LANDLORDS AND TENANTS UNDERSTAND THEIR RIGHTS REGARDING EVICTIONS AND RECEIVE INFORMATION ON AVAILABLE RESOURCES? IF YES, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? Definitely! I’ve come to realize after sitting through hundreds of eviction cases that not only are tenants and landlords unaware of the resources that are available to assist them, but we should educate and bring awareness to the solutions that can assist both parties involved. The court should promote one on one meetings with all the rent relief assignees offering funding for both tenants and landlords through the city, county, or state relief fund.
At the local level:

Returning back to in person hearings and making our court more efficient in order to save our tax payers money and time.

Get Adult Protective Services (APS) and Child Protective Services (CPS) more involved in the eviction process to assist families in their relocating process due to their unfortunate circumstances.
A previous judge ( William Donovan) that I had the honor to serve under, who was compassionate but fair.
Integrity, honesty and following through with the promises you made while trying to be elected.
To be known as the best Justice of the Peace that Precinct 3 has ever had.
On January 28, 1986 I was 20 when the Challenger Space Shuttle was destroyed upon launch.
Batman because he is a real human being but has all the cool toys.
Raising 3 successful sons as a single dad.
Most people do not understand the job of The Justice of the Peace, even though this position could ultimately affect then on a daily basis. This court deals with traffic violations, evition processes, small claims, and other types of writs to include writ of attachments, writ of possession, writ of re-entry, writ of retrieval, writ of executions, and writ of sequestration. Not only do I understand all of these but I've also enforced them.
I believe at this position it is important to be non biased and make sure that both sides in the case are given a chance to present facts to ultimately receive a fair ruling. The fact that I am currently a police officer I understand how important it is to hear all facts of the case prior to making a ruling. I don't belive in favoritism. I will rule on the party who presents the best case.
Through the years I've had the pleasure of working with several of Justice of the Peaces, I appreciate all the wisdom and knowledge I've learned through the last 12 years of working under them. I have received the best training that anyone applying for this position could receive. I have received ON THE JOB TRAINING.
Yes, for both the plaintiff and the defendant when it applies.
In my experience with the community I feel that changes are required to make this court more current and efficient. As well as raising the level of standards up to what the community asks for and expects out of this court.
No, I believe that politics sometimes cloud the judgment of a judge when it comes to his ruling.
