|My passion for serving others began early in life. Growing up in the church, I was instilled with a strong sense of morality and witnessed firsthand the importance of treating others with kindness and respect. This foundation has guided my personal and professional journey, shaping my commitment to leadership and community service.
Growing up on the northside, I saw how some neighborhoods were neglected—crumbling roads, lack of resources, and a community that felt forgotten. That’s what inspired me to step into public service. I’m not in this for personal gain; I’m here to ensure that every voice in Paducah is heard. My leadership style is simple: I listen, I act, and I work with others to find solutions that benefit everyone. Our city deserves real action, not empty promises, and I’m committed to making that happen.
Leadership to me isn’t about the spotlight—it’s about getting results. I’ve learned through years of managing teams, organizing complex operations, and running my own business that collaboration and hard work lead to success.- People Over Politics - One question I am asked often is if Im a Republican or Democrat. I must emphasize that this election is nonpartisan, but I am an Independent. I respect everyone's right to choose their political affiliation, but I believe the issues our city faces are best addressed without the divisive politics we often see on a larger scale. My focus is on making a positive impact for everyone, regardless of party affiliation. My motto has become "People Over Politics"
- What Makes Me Different From Other Candidates - I believe the main difference is that I am just like many of you. I grew up with cracked roads and grass pushing through the curbs. I understand the frustrations of our community because I’ve experienced them, and that’s what drives me to run for public office and make a real difference. In addition to that, I am the only candidate with a legal background.
- Campaign Goals - One major issue we have seen is a lack of transparency in our local government. It's one thing to put it as a campaign motto and it's another to actually provide it. My goal is to hold our elected officials accountable while also uplifting them to a higher standard of integrity. We have also lacked focus on our priorities. We constantly spend millions on projects that or community oppose, but we still haven't made advances on our southside and other overlooked communities. Our roads still have huge potholes, and our sidewalks are still crumbling. This is a major issue and it's appalling that our elected officials ignore it.
In saying that, they also fail to do thorough research into candidates like myself, that don't fit into the cookie cutter mold we have unfortunately become accustomed to. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Louisville and a Master's in Legal Studies with a focus in U.S. Government Legislation from American University Washington College of Law. My education has provided me with a strong foundation in communication, government processes, and legal frameworks, which have been instrumental in shaping my approach to business and leadership.
