Dulce Aguirre was a candidate for the Zone 5 seat on the Rogers Board of Education in Arkansas. She ran in the general election on September 15, 2015. Aguirre lost the election to fellow newcomer Paige Sultemeier.

Aguirre earned an associate degree from Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) in 2012. She is a manager at Fernando's Heating and Air Conditioning Company. She also works as a business tutor with NWACC.[1] Aguirre earned her U.S. citizenship in 2007 and was seeking to become the first Latino board member in district history. She and her husband have four children who graduated from district schools.[2]

Two of the seven seats on the Rogers Board of Education were up for election on September 15, 2015. The seats of incumbents Jerry Carmichael and Kristen Cobbs were up for election. Cobbs won her election without opposition to keep the Zone 3 seat. Carmichael did not file for re-election. Paige Sultemeier defeated fellow newcomer Dulce Aguirre for the Zone 5 seat.
