Ballot question

The ballot question was as follows:[1]

To provide funding for general City services, shall an ordinance be adopted to impose a cannabis industry tax at a rate not to exceed up to $3.50 per dry-weight ounce of cannabis flower, cannabis leaves, fresh cannabis plant, and up to 10% of gross receipts per quarter for other commercial Cannabis businesses and which may raise an amount which is difficult to estimate but may be approximately $20,000 to $40,000 per year.[2]
