Governor Jeff Landry (R) appointed Davidson to Louisiana Secretary of Natural Resources on August 25, 2025, to replace Tyler Gray (nonpartisan).[1]

Biography

Davidson earned a B.A. in English with a minor in U.S. Public Policy from Tulane University. Prior to becoming Secretary, he was the Deputy Secretary for the Louisiana Department of Energy and Natural Resources. His professional experience includes being a professional staff member on the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis and a legislative assistant on Capitol Hill.[1]
