My name is Dustin Lloyd. I am a graduate of Excelsior Springs schools, a proud dad, and an honorably discharged U.S. Army veteran.

I was raised with simple values: work hard, live within your means, keep your word, and take care of your neighbors. Those values guide why I’m running for State Representative.

Families across our district are feeling the pressure of rising prices—groceries, housing, utilities, and healthcare all cost more, while paychecks don’t stretch as far. Seniors are worried about fixed incomes, veterans face unnecessary red tape, and families want a fair shot without government getting in the way.

I believe in responsible budgeting, local control, strong public schools, and standing up for those who served our country. Government should be practical, accountable, and focused on solving real problems—not scoring points.

I respect different viewpoints and believe we get better results when we listen first and work together. My goal is to represent our district with integrity, common sense, and a steady hand—putting Missouri families, community values, and fiscal responsibility first.
  • Affordability First Every family feels the pressure of rising costs. My focus is on practical solutions that help make housing, groceries, utilities, healthcare, and childcare more affordable so paychecks go further and families can plan for the future.
  • Common-Sense, Responsible Government Taxpayer dollars should be used carefully and transparently. I believe in reducing waste, cutting unnecessary red tape, and focusing government on what truly helps people live, work, and raise families in their communities.
  • People Over Politics I’m focused on what works—not labels or party talking points. Listening to residents, respecting different viewpoints, and solving real problems will always come before politics, because good policy should serve people first.
I’m passionate about public policy that makes life better for everyday people. That includes affordability, strong public schools, support for veterans and seniors, and responsible use of taxpayer dollars. I care about reducing unnecessary red tape, improving access to healthcare and essential services, and making sure working families have a fair shot to succeed. I’m also passionate about accountability, transparency, and practical solutions that strengthen local communities and put people before politics.
