Campaign themes
2012
On his 2012 campaign site, Steiner outlines his campaign themes:
- "Every day our businesses, schools and quality of life are under attack by special interests and overzealous legislators. We can do better. I have decided to run for the State Assembly because I believe we can make a difference. As the father of a young child, I want my daughter to grow up in a place that puts children first in the classroom, a place that rewards businesses for creating jobs and growing our economy. It is our duty to leave the world a better place than how we found it. Our leaders in Sacramento have forgotten that."
Debates

- In March, Republican candidates Steiner and Maienshien participated in a "Four Question Forum" for 760 KFMB. Audio of the forum can be found here.
