Dwayne Umbarger
Dwayne D. Umbarger is a former Republican member of the Kansas State Senate, representing District 14 from 1997 to 2013 and serving as the assistant majority whip from 2003 to 2013. In 1995 and 1996, he was on the ANW Special Education Board in Numbolt, Kansas. He was also a school board member for the Consolidated Unified School District #101 in Erie from 1994 to 1996 and served on the Hidden Haven Christian Camp Board and he rural water board.[1]

2008
On November 4, 2008, Umbarger was re-elected to the 14th District Seat in the Kansas State Senate, defeating David L. Miller (D).[8] Umbarger raised $135,260 for his campaign, while Miller raised $1,900.[9]
