Dylan Mary Sullivan is a judge of the El Dorado County Superior Court in California. She was elected in the primary on June 3, 2014, and was set to take office on January 5, 2015. Governor Jerry Brown appointed her to the court in September 2014 so that she could take office early. Her term expires on January 4, 2021.[1][2]

Primary: She was elected in the primary on June 3, 2014, receiving 60.0 percent of the vote. She competed against Joseph Hoffman.

Education

Sullivan earned her B.S. from the University of California at Davis and her J.D. from the University of the Pacific's McGeorge School of Law in 1997.[4]

Career

Sullivan was appointed to be a commissioner for the Superior Court of El Dorado County in 2011. She held that position until becoming a judge in 2014. Her previous experience includes working for the California Parole Authority and private practice with a focus on criminal defense.[4]
