E. Harvey Moss
Harvey Moss (b. July 17, 1951) is a former Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives. He represented the 2nd District from 1984 to 2012. While in office, Moss served as State House Majority Whip.
Moss is an attorney. He attended the University of Mississippi and Northeast Mississippi Junior College.
Moss is a member of the Alcorn County Bar Association, Masons, Mississippi Bar Association, and the Shriners.[1]

Elections
2011
Moss, who initially indicated he would run for re-election, pulled out of the race on June 9, 2011 and announced he would retire after 28 years of service.[2] Moss' refusal to run left Nick Bain as the only Democratic candidate left in the race for District 2's seat.
2007
On November 6, 2007, Moss was re-elected in District 2, defeating Republican challenger John Orman.[3]
